END STOP

Farrat End Stops can be used to provide extra support and prevent excessive movement to resiliently mounted equipment where there is a danger of extreme, short term loads induced either from the equipment itself from external forces.

Farrat had successfully recommended the use of end stops in applications where temporarily exerted extreme loads could have led to catastrophic equipment and or mounting failures.

Some applications where they should be considered:

• Vehicle mounted equipment
• Equipment located in seismic zones
• Test rigs
