Farrat's FAVIM range of materials are produced from the highest quality recycled rubber granulate and polyurethane bonding agent in tightly controlled, state of the art manufacturing processes. FAVIM is the 'environmentally friendly' and economical solution to vibration isolation.

FAVIM materials are high performance and durable with excellent vibration, acoustic and impact isolation as well as exceptional damping characteristics.

Unlike the other Farrat Isolation materials which tend to be used as discrete or strip isolators, FAVIM is predominately used for 'full area' coverage isolation.

FAVIM also has that advantage that it can be laid without bonding directly onto a consolidated hardcore base where it will, to an extent, compensate for surface irregularities. Where necessary, it can be laid in multiple layers.

FAVIM is manufactured in standard sheet sizes of 1.25m x 1m or rolls up to 1.25m wide. It can also be supplied in smaller sheet sizes as well as cut to size strips & pads with any holes or slots cut to specification.

Farrat would advise on most suitable FAVIM grade for each application and provide full specification, predicted natural frequencies, damping, layout drawings and installation instructions.

There are 3 main types of FAVIM: FAVIM 50, FAVIM 100, FAVIM 200 graded by maximum loading pressure.
